Default Scott @ Ethical TAKES CANDY FROM BABYS!

Well, now that Rainbows-Shooting-Out-His-Ass Scotty has run his race in the sun with us AUCTION FOLKS he's taking on a large group of pre-teens:

As reported on TRB:

p077.ezboard.com/fross982...5&stop=195

And at Sneaky Dave's:

www.sneakydave.com/content/view/112/

Scott has glommed onto RuneQuest.

The OTWA thead, mentioned HERE:

Now PG steps up:

Quote:
This thread is about Scott of Auction Ethics. There's a Ross board thread about it. Toy Ranch is angry. This thread is a product of that. This thread is not for discussing the game, per se, but for discussing Scott in a disparaging manner.
Man. She's getting worse and worse.

And TOYRANCH tells her:

Quote:
This thread was started because I would like to find out what experiences OTWAns and their families have had with this game. It is certainly related to the thread on Ross' board, but the purpose for starting the thread is specifically what I stated in the first post... discussing the game and others' experiences with it.

Page two, and Dave posts ON TOPIC:

I haven't got into any role playing games, but I've played the online versions of Counter-Strike on PC, and many games on my XBOX, including Halo 2 and Forza Motorsport, in an adult "clan".

Oh! I missed this. TOYRANCH says congrats to PUZZLEGODDESS

Quote:
I conceed that the introduction of other matters into this thread has probably defeated that goal. Congrats!
PG posted in an OFF TOPIC manner, in order to disrupt that thread.

Queeg is like a chatboard netcop. She never posts anywhere on any topic except to screech at her favored 3-4 posters -- Spazmodeus, Toyranch, Ross, a couple others.

Sort of the same way I feel about those loser netcops -- what a sad way to waste your life, just stalking people and waiting for chances to shriek at them about some imaginary sin or crime. Really pitiful.

Hi, Stalker. I love it when you or PG or some other EZbored drama queen winds up a big round house punch ... and winds up hitting yourself in the back of the head.

I've been ignoring you lately, Hepburn. The last comment I made about you was actually kinda nice.

Mainly, I've been playing places you're not welcome. The last comments I made were about AFI's movie quotes list, Afghanistan, and Sandra Day O'Connor. I suspect even someone with your massively narcissistic personality doesn't think those topics are "all about you."

But thanks for playing.

You ARE the weakest link. Goodbye!!

Yes, I saw that. Thank you. Shows you arent so above yourself that you CAN say something kindasorta positvie when you WANT to, which is rare. But I did appreciate it.

Hepburn, I don't have any particular desire to blast away at you --- and I haven't been that much, lately. You might have noticed in this thread that you started up with me, not me with you.

Bobby, I really applaud your keeping this topic going. Although TRB really isn't what I'd call a kid-friendly board, maybe some parents will catch on and pass the word.

I know a LOT of kids in that age group (it's the age group I teach; and I have a 15 y/o daughter) - you can bet I'll be talking to them. I hope others will do the same if they have the opportunity.

Please keep this in the forefront here, and let us know how we can help - if we can help.

Mobak, have you READ the threads on this board concerning Scott and BigBill? If you actually have and you still think my comment is weird, I wish you would tell us all why.

You think it's okay for a 38 year old man to make sexual puns on a board that almost entirely made up young teen-agers (mostly boys)?

Have you read any of the links that have been provided in the other thread? Have you read any of Scott's posts to these kids? He uses almost verbatim the exact words he used when he was feeding the koolaid to the AE/ET crowd. At least they were adults. Now he's the Big Cheese on a board filled with young, impressionable (mostly) teenaged boys.

Do you condone Scott's behavior? It's out there for you to judge for yourself - not something someone has made up.

Please tell me why you think my post was weird - and don't worry about being "polite".

My first posting to the infamous Ross Board, I hope you don't mind.

As many of you know I'm sure, my wife Marie and I sell on eBay, and we get a great deal of use out of a couple of tools that Scott's company made for us.

Marie and I have met and spent time with most of the players here, including Scott, Nancy, Bill, Lou, Mike and the others at the Ethical team. I realize that some of the Ross Board posters have backstory here with Scott and others, and there are layers upon layers of backstabbing and hurt feelings going back years and years, but I know as well that many of the people posting here have no knowledge of these people or of what they have given to the eBay community, to the DOUA and to others. Someone like Bobby / Toy Ranch has such a deep and visible disdain for Scott (and for me for that matter, for some reason, I'm told) should know better that to spew these rumours and innuendoes in a public forum like this. There are real people on the other ends of these posts. I believe you are crossing lines of decency (and probably lines of legality, I don't know) with the accusations you folks are dancing around here. If you want to have conversations in private then by all means do so, I participate in dozens of private & rumor-filled private conversations about eBay and its principals daily. To hang out here and pretend you're doing a Good Thing with all this name-calling and Google detective work is, to my mind, just using another's name and achievements as a step on which to stand and make yourselves look bigger.

If Ethical has had some sort of business setbacks then I sympathize with him and feel their pain. Marie and I have had similar setbacks in our lives, as have all of you, I'm sure. A great deal of good has come out of the work and efforts of Scott and company, and Marie and I remain optimistic that things will work out here as well. I understand that a handful of Ross Board folks think they've really got something this time, and you're enjoying kicking this man when he's down. Perhaps you're right, but at least these men and women have done something for the eBay community and others, and for that they should always be proud.

I have not spoken to Scott in weeks, and I was surprised and disappointed to miss him in San Jose at eBay Live (and make no mistake, Bill, Scott and eveyone at Ethical was truly missed there, if for no other reason then that Ethical and their plan to offer inexpensive and useful tools to the eBay community offered real competition to the higher-priced service providers that filled the convention hall). To repeat: they have all given a great deal to the eBay and online community. I guess I'm posting here today really to lend a little support where it's needed, and to send a message to these guys that out here in the real world, the Ethical folks have friends and supporters. Scott, Bill, Lou, feel free to call or write. My email and phone number are in all of our eBay ads.
